The dwellings at Machu Picchu had been almost certainly designed and occupied within the mid-fifteenth for the early or mid-16th century. Machu Picchu’s construction style together with other proof suggest that it was a palace complicated from the ruler Pachacuti Inca Yupanqui (reigned c. 1438–71). Many dozen skeletons ended up excavated there
